Fri., Nov. 11 ~ Class A to School for Veterans Day Assembly
On Friday 11/11/22, Cub Scouts who wear their Class A uniform (or Lions Shirt) to school will be recognized and included in the 9:00 am Veterans Day assembly at Kutztown Elementary School (immediately following KES's Grandparents & Goodies event). Scouts may wear their Class A shirt for the rest of the school day, or wear their Class B shirt underneath if they wish to change (due to gym, recess, etc.). Please send a Ziploc baggie to hold the neckerchief and slide after the assembly to make sure all items make it safely home in their backpacks!
Sat., Nov. 12 ~ Scout Night at Phantoms' Hockey Game
On Saturday, 11/12/22, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Hockey team theme is Scout Night for their 7:05 pm game vs Laval at the PPL Center (701 Hamilton Blvd, Allentown, PA). Scouts that attend should wear the Class A uniform. This also happens to be their "I Love the '90s" Night with DJ Freezie, which sounds really fun as well. You can purchase tickets by seating or by price, and can coordinate for a group to sit together. See Link to register
Sat., Nov. 19 ~ Frontier District Cub Klondike at Pike Twp Sportsmen's Assoc.
The Frontier District (Cub Pack 101's district within Hawk Mountain Council) will hold a Klondike Derby for Cub Scouts this year on Saturday 11/19/22, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Pike Township Sportsmen's Association (860 Hill Church Rd, Oley, PA 19547). There is an online registration link; however, Pack 101 hopes to secure enough sign-ups to form at least one 10-person sled team to participate in the district's derby. We will send out a Signup Genius soon, and the pack will register and cover the fees for the first 10 to sign up. Please make sure you are available as signing up constitutes a commitment to make up part of a specified team. Flyer
